SBS sells food and lifestyle content

SBS has proven the global appeal of its food and lifestyle content with a raft of new content sales internationally. Following its debut at MIPCOM last year, SBS’s new 13-part food and culture series My Family Feast is set to screen on Discovery Channel Asia, Multicanal (Spain), Living TV (New Zealand) and V Australia flights.

The ten-part series Food Investigators, presented by Dr. Renee Lim, has been sold to Globosat (Brazil), i-cable (Hong Kong) and Living TV (New Zealand). Maeve O’Meara’s Food Safari has also continued its international trajectory, with sales to OKTO channel in Singapore and TV One in New Zealand.

The popular longstanding travel and food series is now seen in all major territories internationally. SBS Content Sales Manager, Kristin Burgham said: “As audiences across the world tune in en masse to food and lifestyle programs on TV, SBS is delivering excellent content to audiences and enjoying great success with significant sales internationally.
