SBS and Vice will launch a new lifestyle and culture channel, SBS Viceland, on November 15.

SBS and Vice announced their partnership in June. SBS Viceland will replace SBS2 on television and online platforms, and will be available free-to-air.

The channel is owned and operated by SBS, and will feature the best of SBS2 news, sport and entertainment alongside the best programs from Viceland, featuring programs overseen by director Spike Jonze.

Viceland launched in the US earlier this year. Details of the SBS Viceland schedule are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
