Screen Australia announces Nicole Dade as development executive

Screen Australia today announced that Nicole Dade will join its Development team.

Nicole has 12 years experience working in development, production, commissioning and emerging talent. Until recently she was Head of Development at Atlantic Film Group and was previously Head of Production and Development for UK regional screen agency Screen South.

Nicole has designed and managed high-profile UK development and production initiatives, including BFI London Film Festival’s Think-Shoot-Distribute, UK Film Council/Film4/Edinburgh International Film Festival’s Director’s Lab and Warp X/Bird’s Eye View’s Last Laugh: Women Create Comedy. She worked as story editor on Warp X’s Darklight horror film initiative.

Nicole was a Production Executive at Screen East and executive produced Digital Shorts with the UK Film Council New Cinema Fund. She started her career in film at First Take Films, which commissioned and produced the first short films of filmmakers including Andrea Arnold and Mike Barker.
Nicole moved to Sydney with her family in July 2011.
