Screen NSW mourns the passing of much-admired colleague, Martin Williams.
Martin was highly respected by all those he worked with over his career, including his colleagues at Screen NSW for his unerringly generous contributions to the screen industry.
Martin joined Screen NSW in 2009 following a 25 year career in the screen industry as a Director and a Producer, both independently and for the ABC, in drama and factual production. He worked as a Project Coordinator for the AFC, assessed and consulted for federal and state funding agencies nationwide, and was a Board Member of ASDA (now the ADG).
Martin became ill while fulfilling the role of Senior Development Executive at Screen NSW, a workplace he loved. He was always an inspiring collaborator, known for his unique insight, integrity and conviction.
He will be greatly missed and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
