ScreenWest has launched the first intake for its Feature Film Development Track Fund
The fund provides project development funding to Western Australian scripted features at various milestones for up to one consecutive year.
Successful applicants will work toward quality, creative feature film projects with strong Western Australian outcomes that are capable of reaching their target audience and attracting further investment and/or market interest, according to a ScreenWest statement.
This funding program provides two intakes per financial year.
Applications for the first intake close at 5pm, October 26.
Successful applicants may be offered up to a maximum of $25,000 per applicant per assessment stage.
Successful applicants may apply for additional funding at up to three subsequent milestones to a maximum of $50,000 over the course of the track year.
The production company maximum per financial year of $50,000 applies across the following development funds: Feature Film Development, Emergency Development, and Documentary and Television Development.
