Press Release from Adele Feletto Publicity

Pukeko Pictures today announced everyone’s favourite alien duo, SpottyWot and DottyWot, from the internationally successful children’s animation series, the WotWots, is close to completing production on a second series.

The second 52 x 11 minute series will see the lovable little aliens explore life by the sea and farmyard animals and has already been confirmed for broadcast on The Hub in the US.

“We are pleased to announce production on the second series of the WotWots.  This series will see SpottyWot and DottyWot discover animal life at the beach and on the farm – two distinctive settings that are endearing to children and that young ones can interact with in real life.  Children the world over are embracing the series and the unique cuddly characters and the pick-up of series two by The Hub is testament to this” said co-founder of Weta Workshop, Sir Richard Taylor.

With broadcasts in 89 territories including Australia, Canada, Korea, Middle East and Poland, the WotWots was recently sold to HBO Family Latin America for PAY-TV and VOD rights.
