SERIES THREE OF HOUSE HUSBANDS COMMENCES PRODUCTION

The Nine Network’s Logie Award-winning family drama House Husbands has commenced filming its third season in Melbourne.

Lincoln Lewis, one of Australia’s most engaging young actors (Tomorrow, When the War Began), will join the cast of House Husbands in 2014. Lewis will star as a mysterious character that ignites tension amongst the close-knit families.

Gary Sweet (Lewis), Firass Dirani (Justin), Gyton Grantley (Kane) and Rhys Muldoon (Mark) will reprise their lead roles in the series, joined once again by Julia Morris, Natalie Saleeba, Anna McGahan and Georgia Flood.

“House Husbands has broken new ground in television drama, and we’re delighted to welcome it back for a third series,” Nine’s Heads of Drama, Jo Rooney and Andy Ryan, said.

House Husbands is a Playmaker production for the Nine Network, created by Ellie Beaumont and Drew Proffitt. The new series comprises 13 one hour episodes with Playmaker’s David Maher and David Taylor and the Nine Network’s Jo Rooney and Andy Ryan as Executive Producers. Ellie Beaumont will also co-Executive produce.

House Husbands series three will go to air on the Nine Network later this year.
