Directed by Anna McGrath, and screening in the Shorts in Competition Student Program, Small Change won the award for Best Graduate Diploma Narrative Production at the VCA Grad Show in 2007.

Small Change is one of two Aussie shorts in the programme. Australian short documentary Skin will feature as part of the Shorts in Competition Documentary Program.

The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro in a response to the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and the consequent loss of vitality in the TriBeCa neighborhood in Manhattan.

The 2009 festival will run from April 22 to May 3.
