Director Rupert Sanders' reimagining of the classic fairytale features Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as the Huntsman, ordered to kill Snow White (Twilight's Kristen Stewart) by the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron). The epic fantasy/adventure film is the first in a planned trilogy.

The film, shot in the UK, features the work of Australian cinematographer Greig Fraser, who was awarded the Australian Cinematographers Society’s Milli Award for his contribution to 2009 Jane Campion film Bright Star earlier this year.

At the recent Comic-Con, Sanders and producer Joe Roth told the crowd that the filmmakers “want to make the definitive version of the Grimm’s Fairy Tale, on a scale of Lord of the Rings".

Snow White and the Huntsman will be released on 21 June, 2012
