SOUNDFIRM Sydney is opening new state-of-the-art facilities across two buildings in Beaconsfield. Next door to Alexandria, with plenty of on-site parking, they are only a 5-minute walk from Green Square station. This new set up continues the company’s commitment to provide the very best in technical excellence and service for the post production industry.
For more than 37 years SOUNDFIRM has been providing sound services to local and international producers and their picture offering has grown dramatically over the past decade. They recently completed both Picture and Sound for The Dry, Penguin Bloom and High Ground which have taken the Australian box office by storm.
The new facilities include a large Dolby Atmos mixing stage that is also Grade capable, a 4K projected grading theatre that is also Nearfield Atmos Mix capable, two HDR grading suites, an ADR recording suite, two Nearfield Atmos mixing suites along with multiple Offline Editing suites.
SOUNDFIRM has always been at the forefront of the latest industry developments and their facilities are designed to integrate the Picture and Sound pipelines for a seamless workflow. Their established VFX department was designed to offer high end performance for local films and they also provide a range of Data Management and On-Set Dailies Services. Their in-house talent can be complemented as needed with top-line freelancers, providing flexibility of resources throughout a production.
SOUNDFIRM Sydney has recently expanded their production department with Shaun Richards coming in to manage the facility and Keilah Rafel Motta Pirotelli taking over as the Post Producer. Shaun joins the company from Goldcrest in London and Keilah from The Gingerbread Man. Their Sound team is headed up by Oscar winner, Andy Wright, and has a great track record across film, TV and documentary.
