Studiocanal rings in the changes

Studiocanal Australia CEO Robert Slaviero is hiring and reshuffling staff in an expansion of the sales and marketing teams.

Andrew Rolfe is promoted from sales executive to the new role of operations manager, effective January 13.

Marina Vidakovic, currently with Hoyts Corp’s yet-to-launch VOD service Hoyts Stream, starts on that day as sales executive. Marina spent eight years as national programming manager for Hoyts Cinemas before joining the company's cinema technology group.

Rolfe will report to national sales and acquisitions manager Greg Denning and to director of TV/digital sales Tim Stuart, Vidakovic to Denning.

Nicolin Collingridge, formerly with Icon Film Distribution, joins Studiocanal on January  6 as marketing assistant/junior publicist, reporting to Shauna Moore and Tiffany Millane.

Studiocanal’s 2014 line-up consists of 17 titles, double that of this year, including Are We Officially Dating? Non-Stop, Vampire Academy, Cuban Fury, Sabotage, Chef and Paddington.
