Sydney director’s short tours Hollywood’s Shriekfest

[Press Release by Undercurrent Pictures]

Sydney director and Tropfest finalist, Annabel Osborne’s short horror Le Petit Chef continues it’s international festival tour this weekend, screening at SHRIEKFEST, Hollywood’s premiere genre festival.

A dark and twisted fable in the tradition of Roald Dahl, it tells the story of little Elouise, who minces up her Aunty B and ads her to the home-made chocolate tarts.

Starring Deborah Piper, Tahnee Stroet and Patricia Holt, Le Petit Chef has already screened at festivals around the world including Fantasia in Montreal, and the New York City Horror Film Festival, as well as the Mauvais Genre Film Festival in France, and several local festivals in Sydney.

Annabel has been invited to write for Dick Shidlich’s Fantastic Tales in the U.S, a feature of short films produced by Peter Farrelly and Charlie Wessler (There’s Something about Mary & Shallow Hal). She continues to develop her feature ideas, both in fiction and documentary.
