, the film, starring Geoffrey Rush, Ewan Leslie, Miranda Otto and Sam Neill, is set for a winter theatre release in the States.

The Daughter, which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival last year, is inspired by Stone’s adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s The Wild Duck, which was first performed at Sydney's Belvoir.
