The US adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is one of the year's highly-anticipated releases from Sony/Columbia. It will be the second film based on the Swedish novel of the same name by Stieg Larsson.
Starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, the film is directed by big-player David Fincher and is set for a US release this December. However, Australian audiences will have to wait till January 12, 2012.
The film, penned by Steven Zaillian, tells the story of Mikael Blomkvist (Craig), a journalist, who is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for 40 years by Lisbeth Salander (Mara), a young computer hacker.
