Trop Jr finalists announced

Press release from Tropfest

The world’s largest short film festival, for kids, by kids! has selected the 14 finalists to headline the annual event which will be held on Sunday February 21. The festival will offer audiences a fun lineup of films from our young, homegrown talent!

John Polson, Director/Founder of Trop Jr, shares his thoughts on the junior competition:

“Trop Jr, now in its third year, goes from strength to strength, with 2010 seeing a significant increase in entries. It’s great to see the ideas that have come through in this year’s finalist films and the creative ways these stories are told. It shows how necessary Trop Jr is becoming in giving young filmmakers a ‘voice’ and helping foster the next generation of Australian talent”.

Trop Jr is proud to reveal the 14 finalists for the 2010 festival.
