Two Australian Semifinalists in Crash the Super Bowl Campaign

Two Australian entrants have made it into the semifinals of the Doritos 'Crash the Super Bowl' campaign in which fans from all over the world (wherever Doritos are sold) can enter by making a 30 second advertisement for Doritos. The ads made by the two lucky winners will air in front of a global television audience during Super Bowl XL VIII.

The Crash the Super Bowl competition has been running for seven years, however this year marked the first time that fans outside of the US could submit their entries. Thomas Noakes and Casey Schweikert are the two semifinalists from Australia with their films, 'Finger Cleaner' and 'Body Cast', respectively. Not only are they in the running to have their ad showed before a global television audience during the next Super Bowl, the winning ads' creators will also win the oppportunity to work with Marvel Studios on the set of Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron. One of the two lucky winners will be chosen by fan votes on www.doritos.com and the other will be chosen by the Doritos brand. The five finalist ads that have a shot at winning the US$1million prize will be announced in January. Each of the five Crash the Super Bowl finalists will win an invitation to East Rutherford, N.J., to attend Super Bowl XLVIII and watch the game from a private luxury suite, where they will tune in to learn which finalist ads will air for the world’s attention.
