UK’s Audio Network opens office in Sydney

[Press Release by TM Publicity]

Audio Network – the UK’s market leading music producer and supplier – has opened a new office in Sydney, servicing Australia and New Zealand.

Audio Network Australia’s Managing Director Linda Tizard said, “The opportunity to establish Audio Network Australia was irresistible. This service is widely used by broadcasters, advertising agencies and independent production companies in the UK and the US and it’s easy to understand why – it just makes so much sense. This is high quality music at a fraction of the usual cost.”

The innovative music supplier significantly reduces the cost and complexity of using music in films and television, by providing a catalogue of over 18,000 tracks, all cleared for usage across all media platforms.

“This service is designed to provide producers, editors and sound designers with direct, easy, fast access to every kind of music you can think of. This is an amazing range of original music and arrangements created by world-class composers. And, best of all, it means no more re-versioning, or rights negotiations for new territories or uses.”

Audio Network’s low cost, high quality service already has a strong appeal to Australian broadcasters and producers, and this new venture will significantly increase the level of service we can offer,” Ms Tizard said.

Linda Tizard was, until recently, Head of Development and Investment at the NSW Film and Television Office. Her background in television production includes work as Manager of Business Affairs at Beyond International, as General Manager of South Pacific Pictures and as a film business consultant through The Broad Picture.

Audio Network music is available online, at www.audionetworkplc.com, on CDs or in a searchable hard drive. The new Australian website will be available very soon.
