Synopsis: Undercover is a true crime story based on the candid, hilarious and at times, chilling, autobiography of former police officer, Damian Marrett, a young man responsible for some of the biggest drug busts in Australian law enforcement history. Just 19 years old and an adrenaline-loving kid from the suburbs of Melbourne, Marrett unintentionally joins the Victoria Police and rises rapidly through the ranks to become the country’s youngest and most unlikely star undercover cop. Marrett’s unconventional journey sees him become so seduced by the chase, that he loses connections to his reality in a risky attempt to bring down the world of organized crime in an operation regarded to this day as Australia’s most complex covert sting operation.
