VCA Part-time Filmmaking course: Film & TV Foundations

Join VCA's Film & TV Foundations filmmaking short course and take your film and TV skills to the next level. Located in the arts precinct at Southbank (Melbourne), Film & TV Foundations is a year-long, part-time course for budding writers, directors and editors, and tailored for people already studying or working. Take the time to develop your filmmaking skills and contribute to your portfolio of work.

Participants will complete one short filmmaking exercise (2 minutes) and will individually write and direct one major short production (5 minutes), adding two short films to your reel!

  • Cinematography 

A mix of lectures and workshops, the course will provide you with valuable access to Australia’s best film industry practitioners and educators, state-of-the-art facilities and the insight, confidence and connections required to move forward into this competitive industry.
