Videocraft sees new workflow at SMPTE 2013

Press Release

This year’s SMPTE again sees Videocraft pushing the boundaries with clever new production workflows. The company, known for innovative multi-camera productions, will be demonstrating its latest, efficient, ‘real world tested’ end-to-end solutions from acquisition to archive.

Videocraft NSW State Manage Andy Liell said, “We’ll be demonstrating what we do best in terms of proven small to medium scale, cost effective OB production solutions, with a twist. The new workflows we’ll be exhibiting are extremely efficient and adaptable so you can use them in many different market segments in and out of the traditional broadcast industry. Our goal at SMPTE is to ensure that anyone who comes onto the Videocraft stand for a demo then takes away a tangible benefit for themselves and their segment of the industry. We can only achieve that by having real, innovative solutions that are relevant to the market’s requirements and that really work.”

There will be more twists as the company also demonstrates clever new post production solutions using the latest versions of industry leading systems that include ProTools 11, Avid Media Composer 7, Avid ISIS, Avid Interplay MAM, and the EVS suite of production servers and workflow enhancing software solutions.

In the stand’s acquisition and production areas there will be ample opportunity for visitors to play with the latest Sony 4K CineAlta™ PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 cameras, 65” and 84” Sony 4K displays, Canon Cinema EOS cameras and lenses, the new Fujinon Cabrio lenses as well as all the new products from Panasonic, Blackmagic Design, Small HD and many more

Liell concluded, “In short, there will be some well-established industry favourites and there will also be some very clever new products and game-changing workflow solutions which you will only be able to see and play with on the Videocraft stand.”

Videocraft will be exhibiting on stand F17 at SMPTE 2013 at the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre in Sydney from 23rd-26th July 2013.
