Director Ben C. Lucas worked closely with the actors throughout a three week intensive rehearsal period before pre-production commenced, taking on their feedback and benefitting from the way they chose to inhabit and develop their roles. “As a director, you’ve got all the characters to think about, as well as everything else, but the actors spend all their time just thinking about their own character so they can come up with some really good ideas” he says.
