Launched last year by Popcorn Taxi, The Australian Film Festival is back for a second year to present a very special screening of one of the most original and moving Aussie flicks ever made, the multi-award winning, The Sum of Us.
Featuring a young Russell Crowe alongside John Polson, with the enormous presence of one of the country's finest actors, Jack Thompson, The Sum of Us tells the story of a widowed father having to deal with two complex issues: while he is searching for 'Miss Right', his son, who is in his 20's and gay, is searching for 'Mr Right'.
The screening of the film will be followed by a rare opportunity to be a part of an audience Q&A with Jack Thompson, live on stage after the film.
