ZERO DARK THIRTY has been touted as the ‘must-see’ film right now. It opened at number one at the US Box Office over the weekend, raking in US$24 million.

It is also receiving critical acclaim with 5 Academy Award nominations and the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama going to Jessica Chastain.

ZERO DARK THIRTY tells the true story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man – Osama bin Laden.

It comes from the Oscar winning team behind The Hurt Locker –  director and producer Kathryn Bigelo, and writer and producer Mark Boal.

Jessica Chastain says of the film, ‘What (director Kathryn Bigelow) and Mark have done, is that they have not made a propaganda film. They tried to make it as authentic as possible and respectful of the actual historical event as they could.’

Starring alongside Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain are Joel Edgerton (Warrior) and James Gandolfini (Killing Them Softly).

ZERO DARK THIRTY will be released in cinemas nationally on January 31, 2013.
