EFILM® Australia co-developed and is the exclusive provider for the BAKE® hi-resolution grading process with BEAN Colour for commercial productions. Anthos Simon, Creative Services Manager for Deluxe Australia said, “Through the development process of BAKE with BEAN in 2007 I met Andrew Clarkson and was immediately impressed with his uniquely collaborative approach with commercial directors. He’s an incredibly gifted colourist and was a natural pick when it came time to launch our commercial colour division,” added Simon.

EFILM® is a global pioneer in the world of colour management & digital intermediates for feature films and trailers. EFILM® Australia operates dual proprietary EWorks Lustre incinerator suites and offers digital and film dailies supported by the Spirit 2K 4:4:4 Datacine with da Vinci 2K Plus. It recently launched a state-of-the-art Resolve grading suite in its Lane Cove facility, a commercially focused digital grading environment supplementing CIS-Postmodern’s colour grading capabilities at Kent Street. EFILM® Australia’s recent Australian colour credits include Animal Kingdom, Sleeping Beauty, Oranges & Sunshine and Mao’s Last Dancer.

Andrew Clarkson says of the new role; “CIS-Postmodern and EFILM Australia both bring something uniquely special to commercial colour design. EFILM has an incredible background in feature colour science and tremendous resources. CIS-Postmodern has a wonderful hands-on approach with phenomenal creative execution. Needless to say I’m thrilled to join this talented group of people.”
