Deluxe Australia, a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., has announced the appointment of Andrew Clarkson to the new role as Head of Commercial Colour for EFILM® Australia and CIS-Postmodern.
Clarkson will spearhead new colour grading initiatives for Deluxe Australia’s commercial businesses: CIS-Postmodern, a fast growing design and visual effects business servicing high-end feature, commercial and television clients in Australia and throughout Asia; and EFILM® Australia, the first international affiliate of leading Hollywood Digital Intermediate facility with feature credits that include Secretariat, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Red, Iron Man 2, and Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
EFILM® Australia co-developed and is the exclusive provider for the BAKE® hi-resolution grading process with BEAN Colour for commercial productions. Anthos Simon, Creative Services Manager for Deluxe Australia said, “Through the development process of BAKE with BEAN in 2007 I met Andrew Clarkson and was immediately impressed with his uniquely collaborative approach with commercial directors. He’s an incredibly gifted colourist and was a natural pick when it came time to launch our commercial colour division,” added Simon.
