“I am excited to have the opportunity to lead ASTRA and represent an industry that employs more than 6,000 Australians and invests $667 million in Australian content each year,” Maiden said.

Andrew will officially take over the role after the conclusion of the ASTRA Conference, which commences on March, 14 2013.

As CEO, Andrew will join the ASTRA board reporting to chairman The Hon Steve Bracks AC.
