After a successful stint as Marketing Specialist for Fujifilm Australia, Fujifilm announced today that Todd Sasaki will be moving overseas to set up Fujifilm Optical Devices Division UK. Sasaki who played a key role in liaising with the Fujinon factory in Omiya, Japan whilst at Fujifilm Australia has been with the company 16 years and is seen as a rising star within the organisation.
Fujifilm Australia General Manager Motion Picture Film, Recording Media and Optical Devices Marc Van Agten said, “Todd has excellent product specialist knowledge of the Fujinon Optical Range and is the perfect person to set up the new UK office.”
Currently Fujifilm’s European division is responsible for the UK business so Sasaki’s promotion will also ensure better, more comprehensive local sales, service and support in the territory.
Todd Sasaki said, “Our goals are to establish an office, increase our business and expand our offering to clients by servicing them directly in addition to using our established agent network. This is part Fujifilm’s global plan to better support customers in their local countries and regions.”
The new Fujifilm office will be in Soho Square, Central London and is scheduled to open in November 2011.
