Dimitriades joins Wog Boy 2 cast

Australian AFI Award nominee, Alex Dimitriades has been joined by US film star Kevin Sorbo, Italian actress Cosima Coppola and Greek movie star Zeta Makripoulia on the journey to Greece, where they have commenced filming THE KINGS OF MYKONOS with Nick Giannopoulos and Vince Colosimo.

With an aptitude and charisma that has spanned an acting career for well over a decade, Dimitriades is noted for his critically acclaimed role in ‘Head On’ and most recently for his appearance on Australia’s hit series Underbelly.
 
Kevin Sorbo is a US film and television star, best known for his role as Hercules in the #1 TV show in the world. Kevin has been called television’s third most bankable star behind Oprah and Regis. Kevin most recently starred in the comedy cult  “Meet the Spartans”
 
Cosima Coppola is ‘Miss Italy’ and is a bona fide Italian TV star and award winning dancer. Zeta Makripoulia, a stunning native Greek, has had leading roles in the most successful Greek films of recent times.

Kevin Sorbo is a terrific actor who is well known and loved throughout the world for his syndicated TV series and his comedy films”. The film heralds the return to screen of characters Steve and Frank, following the boys on a journey to Mykonos where Steve discovers he has inherited a beach on the island worth millions, from an uncle he has never met. THE KINGS OF MYKONOS is the sequel to one of Australia’s most successful comedies of all time, the original The Wog Boy grossed $13.4 million in 2000, and has been seen by over 7 million.

THE KINGS OF MYKONOS is directed by multi–award winning director Peter Andrikidis, known best for his work with Colosimo & Dimitriades on gritty television series Underbelly. Emile Sherman of See-Saw Films, who is one of the most prolific & talented young producers in the world, and whose body of wok includes; Disgrace, $9.99, Candy & Rabbit Proof Fence, is producing with Giannopoulos through G.O. Films.
