Don’t Look Back Pictures’ Blaxploitation video

Sydney production company Don’t Look Back Pictures has just completed work on a new “blaxploitation” music video for band The Liberators.

If you’re a fan of blaxploitation films or 1970s cinema then you’re covered.

Filmed across Sydney, the video – which is a movie trailer within a music video – stars Leeroy – the most bad-ass brother to ever wear a badge.

He’s got a black belt in justice and a license in ass-whooping.

“He’s so bad he makes Shaft look white!”

  1. IF readers, please buy/ rent Black Dynamite on DVD and support real independent cinema. No more Hey Hey It’s Saturdays.

  2. Normally I support outright theft, but when the person doing the stealing doesn’t understand the source material or have the courtesy to acknowledge it, it just becomes really lame.
Do what G said and see Black Dynamite before you even thinking about clicking play on that video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r-VDUL5DQk

  3. This is AWESOME!!

I’m pretty sure if you read the actual youtube page they talk about paying tribute to blaxploitation..including black dynamite.

I believe it’s you who doesn’t understand the source material. If you know anything about the genre you know black dynamite is a tribute (or outright theft as you call it) of every blaxploitation film before it.

You guys are idiots. This is hilarious!
