Executive changes at Magna

Press release from Well Above

Magna Systems and Engineering, has announced its current Managing Director Robert Clemesha will take on the role of Executive Chairman while the group’s current General Manager David Bowers is promoted to CEO.

Clemesha said, “We have put into place a natural evolution rather than revolution to structure Magna Systems in a more forward thinking, efficient and effective way for our customers. In my new role as Executive Chairman I will be concentrating on what’s helped Magna Systems get to the successful position we are currently in by looking at future directions for the business.”

The day-to-day responsibilities for Magna Systems will be handled by new CEO David Bowers who added, “Magna Systems will be a more dynamic and progressive company moving forward. I am looking forward to taking the helm, being the public face of Magna, the first point of call for our principals and implementing the directions that Robert will help steer us into.”

Adding to the new structure are two key promotions. Stephen Clemesha moves to become Group Sales Manager with overall responsibility for Magna’s sales teams in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. On the finance side Matthew Clemesha is promoted to Group Administration Manager responsible for costs within the organisation leaving David Bowers to concentrate on increasing revenue and ensuring growth.

David Bowers concluded, “The changes we have put in place have been in development for some time. They allow Magna Systems to maximise its resources driving growth, giving our customers a better more informed service and ensuring that we will be offering the very best solutions for the next decade and beyond. These are truly exciting times.”
