Flickerfest launched on Friday January 7th to a very enthusiastic capacity crowd who made the opening night 20th birthday event last night a blast! The crowd of film makers, actors, film enthusiasts, media and A List celebrities did not let a little rain dampen their spirits as they loudly applauded the programme highlights and danced the night away at our galaxy inspired party by the beach.
Now Flickerfest gets set for another 6 fabulous film-filled days, presenting the cream of local and global short film handpicked from over 1793 entries, with over 16 world and 50 Australian premiers filling our screens with the best short films the world has to offer.
