FTO’s Linda Tizard resigns

[Press Release by TM Publicity]

The Chief Executive of the NSW Film and Television Office, Tania Chambers, has announced the resignation of the FTO’s Head of Development and Investment, Linda Tizard.

“Linda is a greatly valued colleague and I’ve very much enjoyed our working relationship. I’d particularly like to acknowledge her substantial contribution to the development of the FTO’s strategic plan and I wish her every success with her plans for the future,” Ms Chambers said.

Ms Chambers said that Ms Tizard would depart the FTO in early November.

Linda Tizard said: “I’ve greatly enjoyed my time at the FTO over the past 2 years. The FTO is moving in a bold and exciting direction and I’m grateful to have been able to assist with the shaping of that direction. But a new and compelling opportunity has been presented to me and I have decided to take up that challenge.”

Ms Chambers said that the FTO would take the opportunity to make future strategic changes to the organisation. A new position of Director, Creative and Enterprise Development has been created and will be advertised in the coming weeks.
