Passengers, the feature film debut from WA filmmaker Michael Bond, will have its Australian premiere at the 2010 Dungog Film Festival. It stars Cameron Daddo and Angie Milliken, as well as Bruce Davison and newcomer Patty Yu.
The film revolves around a married Australian couple living in Los Angeles, who set out from their home in Santa Monica to meet friends for dinner in Hollywood. Naturally they hit traffic and by the time they arrive their marriage is over.
Bond and Daddo will both attend this year's Dungog Film Festival, which will run from May 27 – 30.
