Quickflix Appoints Kristin Marlow as Chief Content Officer

Quickflix, Australia's leading movie streaming company today announced a key appointment to its executive leadership team with the hiring of Kristin Marlow as Chief Content Officer.

With over 20 years experience within the media and entertainment industry, Kristin is one of the few executives in Australia media with experience across IPTV, Subscription TV and Free to Air television.

She is recognised in the industry as an innovator in content acquisition and distribution, having worked with leading brands such as Telstra BigPond Movies, Optus, SBS, Television New Zealand and Network Ten.

Kristin will oversee the creative and commercial vision for Quickflix’s content strategy and will be responsible for the strategic direction and development of all content programming, licensing and merchandising with a particular focus on streaming.

The appointment follows Quickflix’s return to growth in the past six months underpinned by strong demand for its streaming service, which is growing at 20 per cent per quarter.
