Spandau Ballet heading Down Under

Spandau Ballet, one of the defining bands of the ‘80s, are heading to Australia in November and will attend special event screenings of their new film SOUL BOYS OF THE WESTERN WORLD in Melbourne and Sydney.

The screening in Sydney at Hayden Orpheum on Friday 7 November will be followed by a special Q&A where audience members will have the chance to interact directly with the band.

The event at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, co-presented by smoothfm, will take place on Wednesday 5 November and will include a Q&A as well as a special 20 minute live performance from the band.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public for both cities on Thursday 16 October.

SOUL BOYS OF THE WESTERN WORLD is a journey through the 1980s and beyond; the story of a band, an era and how one small gathering of outsiders in London shaped the entire world's view of music and fashion. The film is not only a fascinating, often hard-hitting social and cultural document of the time, but a brutally honest story of how friendships can be won, lost and ultimately regained.

The bands visit to Sydney and Melbourne will coincide with the release of their brand new best-of album The Story – The Very Best of Spandau Ballet. The album will release in stores on October 24 via Warner Music Australia.
