SunJive Studios offers production design placement on ‘The Wheel’

SunJive Studios. 

SunJive Studios is offering one early career Victorian production designer a placement on upcoming action-sci-fi The Wheel. 

The successful applicant will spend around nine weeks assisting the film’s production designer and art department buyer, while also observing the production design process.

Applicants must be Victorian and demonstrate their interest in production design and being part of art department. They must have some experience on a film set or art department, be IT literate, possess a Victorian driver’s licence and be able to drive a small van.

SunJive said the role would suit a person with a strong interest in commercial elevated genre films.

Pre-production will begin February 2017 with production concluding the first week of April. The applicant must be able to undertake the placement on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be paid as an art department buyer’s assistant/runner.

Deadline for applications is 5.00PM January 20. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed January 25, and the successful applicant notified January 30. The placement will commence during pre-production.
