Where The Streets Have No Name trailer

Touted as "a hair-raising documentary uncovering what lies beneath this Paradise island", Where The Streets Have No Name chronicles one man's journey to help alleviate homelessness in Cairns.

Sydney filmmaker Vijaykumar Mirchandani, of 16th Street Productions, spent a week on the streets in Cairns and documented his experience, completing the project in April this year.

Receiving nods at such festivals as the Redemptive Film Festival and the Commffest (Global) Community Film Festival, Where the Streets Have No Name has been selected for official screening at seven film festivals in North America and Canada.

Supported by Metro Screen, volunteers and the Cairns community, it's hoped the documentary will screen Down Under next year.
